Directors notes
IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE is the second collaboration between Seth Sinclair (writer) and myself as director.
We wanted to create a film that had a stylish dark look, with a a slightly fantastical subject. Inspired by the Krampus fairy tales, I thought it would be a fun idea to make a modern version of him….now her. Santa used to mean something: if you were good, he came; if you were bad, then the Krampus came. Somewhere along the way that all changed and Santa brought presents to everyone, good and bad. That’s all about to change!
