Bad girl finally gets to ask santa why she never got any presents

[dropcap size=big]F[/dropcap]or Kitty, life has been a horrific series of disappointments, tragedies and humiliations. At the end of her tether, she finally snaps- and kidnaps the man who let her down year after year after year, the man she always believed in, the one man who could have saved her from a life of drugs and prostitution… Santa Claus.
Locked in a battle of wills, St Nick finds himself fighting for his life against his crazed captor.
But while Kitty struggles to keep that hopeful little girl hidden beneath her homicidal desire for revenge, she finally discovers the truth about Christmas past, and her own pivotal role in Christmas future.

Directors notes

IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE is the second collaboration between Seth Sinclair (writer) and myself as director.

We wanted to create a film that had a stylish dark look, with a a slightly fantastical subject. Inspired by the Krampus fairy tales, I thought it would be a fun idea to make a modern version of him….now her. Santa used to mean something: if you were good, he came; if you were bad, then the Krampus came. Somewhere along the way that all changed and Santa brought presents to everyone, good and bad. That’s all about to change!
