THIS IS A COOL SHORT FILM ABOUT A COUPLE WITH LIFE AND DEATH IN THEIR HANDS AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET BACK INTO THEIR SON’S LIFE
When Cheryl and Eddie, contract killers and married couple, discover that their next victim is a groomsman in their estranged son’s wedding, due to meet him at the church that evening, they must decide whether to save his life and their relationship with their son, or continue in their madness.
This film ultimately became a vehicle for my subconscious to talk about the complexities and challenges of parent-child relationships. But it’s not all darkness and heartbreak. I wanted to create a film about a couple with one decision to make that escalated near a body of water. The inception was that simple– two people arguing on opposite sides of a river. Then my Long Island roots and morbid sense of humor crept in, allowing me to create Cheryl and Eddie, two relatable and enchanting characters who happen to be criminals. The writing process was a labor of love, and production was a truly collaborative couple of days working with a group that were intent on making the best film we could while enjoying the process as much as possible.
