Two Robots on a mission to impress the boss man in-order not to be  “Shelved”

Ok so Shelved is a short film that sees two warehouse employees that just happened  to be intelligent state of the art robots well maybe not state of the art or intelligent but robots never the less.  They are on a mission to impress the “boss man” and they think they have it all figured out. Finding themselves doing favors for the sexy Shantel from HR who has access to the boss man’s area one word from her could see our two dim witted robots cruising on the elevator to success but do they have what it takes.

This is a great Animated/VFX  short film by #AucklandMediaDesignSchool. The comedy is a nod towards the early films of directors Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats) and Richard Linklater (Slacker, Dazed and Confused). Directed by #JamesCunningham with visual effects by eleven Media Design School students.

From a #technical point of view this short film does quite well.  VFX is well delivered although there is one scene where the animation dose not quite fit with its surroundings. This is a minor point however.

The delivery of the lines are well executed and script is simple yet imaginative. It  draws the viewer in and keeps them engaged throughout.

All in all this is a solid addition to the short film community and a really nice addition to the short VFX films we have on our site thank you to all the guys involved down at the #AucklandMediaDesignSchool.
